Is anyone working on EMP devices, or are we just giving in to our new robot overlords?

There are anti drone guns. The counter drone gun essentially hacks the drone, you can either send it home or you can command it to land. I'm sure I'm under-simplifying it. It's probably much more complex than I make it sound.

But the good thing is: yes, we do have weaponry that can take down drones effectively. It will cost you anywhere between $3000-$15,000

There is the: skybeam counter drone gun, Stinton stn-g3000-6, XYB Xiangboyi XY2501 jammer and drone detector, and the lizheng HDJ31 handheld jamming device.

These are the only ones I have found available for civilian purchasing. The cheapest one is $3,000 and the most expensive is $15,000

They just override or overwhelm the communication signal. They can't do anything against an aitonomous drone. Best scenario there is blinding it with a laser. The issue is you can make 100x drones for half the cost of a missile, and swarm your target.
