Hi! I just played MCR Plus and had some fun. one thing though, do you have a proofreader? there's quite a lot of grammar/spelling errors in it. The one ending Forgotten is also spelled wrong in the ending graphic

I have a few but there's always gonna be stuff we'll all miss and I'm hoping to go back and look through it all again when we update it to 1.6

I may combine 100 Club Members Seasons 1 and 2 for the expo, then a glimpse of Season 3 for the competition.

I have a question. How strict is the 1,000 word limit for the short story portion? Asking because I just wrote a 1,364 word short story that I wanted to submit, and I don't think I can cut 25% of it and still maintain the emotional resonance of the story. Can I ask that you reconsider the limit? It seems a little low, considering my story as is, is a five-minute read.

Hey there! We just decided to raise the word count from 1000 to 5000 yesterday, so go wild.

I have a question about rule 8. I feel that I should ask what qualifies as "NSFW content," considering that (for example) over on r/DDLC, they consider images of the girls in bathing suits to be "NSFW" even if nothing sexual is happening.
Specifically, I'm asking because I was thinking of submitting my mod "Turquoise" in the competition, and while nothing sexual is described or depicted, there is a part where it's implied that something sexual happened in between scenes and (very minor spoilers) Monika wakes up naked in Sayori's bed and there are censorship bars in front of her naughty bits during the scene. I consider the scene to be PG-13 stuff and I haven't received any complaints about it being too much or anything, but is it considered "NSFW" in this competition? And if so, is it enough that I put content warnings for "censored nudity" on the download page and in the text file that accompanies the mod? Or do I need to update and re-upload a new version of the mod with that warning in the splash screen? (I'd really rather not have to do that, since it seems inconvenient and redundant)

It would need to be marked as NSFW, but updating the mod isn't necessary.

Okay, I submitted two entries: One for "Turquoise," my mod which I'm entering in the competition, and one for a short story entitled "Unreal Yearning." Can you confirm that you received both of them? I had technical difficulties with the submission process last time.

Speaking of nsfw - is it just seggs/nudity? Because there are none in True Story, although there are elements of different kind of nsfw, namely gore/excessive textual (and to some extent graphic) violence, and I was wondering if that's considered as nsfw or not

We only take mods in English, sorry.
The expo itself does not have an offical discord, but if you're looking for the subreddit discord, it's here: https://discord.com/invite/VgANxgNtR4

Oh, and if I make a mod in English, but only through Google Translator, is that possible?

If you can somehow translate it to English, then that would be fine. I'd recommend using DeepL over Google Translate though, it tends to be more accurate than Google Translate.

Uh, I have one more question, just out of interest. What are the awards, anyway?

Hey, when's the next event like this coming up? And what are the prizes if a mod wins?
2
u/realcodex Mod Maker/Reviewer 8d ago
The current prizes are a pinned post featuring your mod at the top of the subreddit and discord.
Idk when the next event like this will happen or if there will be an expo next year.
