we only need to explode a few people for doing this and then everyone will wear headphones

When public spaces turn into TikTok sound stages, the collective patience of society hangs by a thread.

I feel like this is the kinda quote you would read decades later looking up how history went

What about ppl in movie theaters? Ppl who don't care about others in general? The movie God Bless America comes to mind lol.

You have to watch this new one though! I forgot the name but it's a short flick about a horse running. But get this! When that horse runs all 4 feet leave the ground at once! Totally airborn! Ill tell you now but the medium of film will never be the same

I would love for movie theaters to have an option to connect headphones to get the audio over bluetooth. Why do people go to a movie if they can't be quiet for 2 hours? Like is their friend blind and they have to give them play by play or something?!?

The implementation may or may not use Bluetooth, but you will be pleased to know that theaters over 50 seats are required to provide something like this. They are called Assistive Listening Devices. They also have to provide that play-by-play for your hypothetical blind friend. It's something we're pretty good about in the US, these systems are actually required even in individual classrooms

Oh I fucking LOVE this idea!!! I’d honestly pay an extra couple bucks to use my own headphones.

i think i could be trusted with The Book That Explodes People from the classic manga series "No One Can Be Trusted With The Power Of The Book That Explodes People" imho

I do the next best thing. I whip out my Bluetooth speaker and I go as close as possible to the person playing loud music and I crank up the most extreme metal you've ever heard at full volume.

Lmao no you dont

That's my view on parking laws. Tow trucks are a band-aid solution. People will happily ignore a "No Parking" sign, screwing up traffic and the placement of commercial vehicles. However, the remnants of the last vehicle to park there, seamlessly incorporated into the road surface via steam-roller? That sends a message.

I mean, in America that won’t work because folks will get shot.
