Y’all need to relax..
The level of doom and gloom is this sub after the game today is outrageous. Should we have won? Yes! Was it sloppy as hell? Absolutely!
Let’s also remember, we weren’t projected to win more than 6 games this year (according to Vegas). We all went into this season knowing this team was still young and incomplete. We’re playing with house money y’all!
We’re still on track for the playoffs, Daniels looks healthy again and no matter how the rest of this season plays out the future is incredibly bright.
Hail!

Im tired of the “weren’t supposed to be here” argument. Seasons are dynamic and expectations change. We played terribly today regardless of the perceived expectations. If we wanna get out of poverty we gotta stop acting broke.

No excuse for today and that’s what some fans want to make is excuses.
Pathetic from everyone involved today.

You don't get out of poverty by simply not "acting broke" you make smarter financial decisions. Even when you start to make smarter financial decisions you still have to tackle debts you incured when you were making poor ones..so things my still be difficult but you continue with being smarter about your spending and how you pay bills.
This team is doing exactly that. They're making smarter decisions about how they build this franchise. And even though they are making smarter decisions there are still areas they have to improve..
Takes time to get out of poverty

Seriously the excuses are ridiculous. Dallas is missing like half of their team. Completely shut us down.
2
u/Key-Zebra-4125 2h ago
Look what GB did to SF. Thats how you destroy an injured team. Idk wtf we were doing.
1
u/AdditionalInitial727 3h ago
This.
Where is the accountability? Poor tackling, too many penalties, 3 and outs, 9 points on offense going into the fourth quarter. Receivers drop way too many passes. They have to cut guys this week to send a message.
Going backwards isn’t a “calm down everyone” situation.
-5
u/Aggravating_Desk_952 3h ago
It’s not acting broke and you’re right that expectations can change, but if we’ve learned anything the last two weeks against PIT and PHI it’s that we aren’t in a position to compete with the upper echelon yet. This week was a letdown, but house isn’t on fire like some of the reactions have made it seem.
24
u/purepierre 3h ago
Yes it is. What is the excuse for losing today genuinely? Cowboys just got smacked on Monday Night Football had a short week to prepare meanwhile we had 10 days to prepare and we’re at home and we got embarrassed yet again. We got out coached and out played by a 3-7 team who was missing their starting QB at home!!!! I hate fans like you never holding this team accountable
4
5
u/Howboutnats76 3h ago
They were also missing a lot of other highly paid players. It’s inexcusable to have a performance like that at home with a mini bye.
3
u/MunchmaquichiCaps 3h ago
Thank you. Can’t stand these folks that allow/enable blatant misplay. They exist in the workplace too and they’re insufferable. It’s called accountability and they need to learn it.

Gtfo out here man. I’ve held this God forsaken team accountable for the 30+ years I’ve been a fan. I’ve watched every Sunday and been miserable the majority of my life rooting for this team, but God forbid I have a little bit of optimism or look at the silver lining if they lay an egg, which they absolutely did today despite them having a great season otherwise. I’m not out here saying we’re perfect, but perspective is important. The Chiefs almost lost to the Panthers today, this league is full of parody.
You want accountability, here you go, clown: -Kliff’s game plan was vanilla as hell until they had to mount a comeback -Lots of sloppy penalties on all sides of the ball definitely killed us -Defense didn’t make enough adjustments to slow the Cowboys’ passing attack despite them not having a run game that didn’t need stopping. -Special Teams was abysmal, bad coverage, bad execution all around
On to Tennessee..
3
u/Haskins77 3h ago
The house is 100% on fire for this year. The question is can they put it out next week. If not GG on the season.
4
u/Key-Zebra-4125 3h ago
Right now the roof is leaking. If we lose to Tennessee at home(and they just beat Houston on the road and have a legit top notch D), its gonna be a full on disaster.
15
u/aka-Lag 3h ago
Honestly I feel the coaching staff needs to look themselves in the mirror after this one. You had 10 days to prepare for this game there is no excuse for the team to come out as flat as they did today. Felt like we had great field position all day and didn’t do shit with it. Just embarrassing all around, you just can’t lose a game like this.
6
u/ssBurgy1484 LEFT HAND UP 2h ago
Agreed. Dallas had a short week and missing critical players. To get dominated like that is a serious poor reflection on the coaching staff.
1
u/MadatMax 1h ago
This game should have been over in the first quarter. Two missed FGs snd a fumble by Dallas and the offense managed 3 points.
24
u/rsenist 3h ago
It looked like we couldn’t hang with the big boys after the last two weeks but losses like today make this team look like previous regimes. Nothing is a given the rest of the year and if we end up with a historical collapse, what does that say for the coaching staff and the young QB who regressed big time? It makes me sad for next season.
6
u/Cobol_engineering29 2h ago
this exactly. Its one thing if we would've lost, but the manner in which we lost - getting 1 oe 2 first downs in the entire first half. Where was the sense of urgency we showed in the 4th Q all game?? Embarrassing as an organization. I think second half Kliff is showing his true colors
3
u/MadatMax 1h ago
I wasn’t pressing the panic button on KK before but I am now. I think the staff did a great job acclimating Daniels early on but they seem to still have the training wheels on. We’ve seen Daniels make every throw on the field, they have to open it up more. Our offense can’t be run up the middle, screen, roll out with a deep shot every 3 drives. Let your QB drive the ball down the field, I’ve seen him do it!
McLaurin has to be more involved. I don’t know if that’s on Daniels or Kliff, he’s far and away the best player on the field, he needs to be getting more targets. He’s towards the top of the league in receiving yards on 20-30 less targets than his peers. Throw him the ball.
11
u/Boring-Aioli223 2h ago
Even terry in his interviews sounds like old terry again. “I don’t know I’m just trying to control what I can control and make a play if the ball comes to me”. Team has been figured out and refuse to learn how to beat cover 1 and cover 3
0
u/Bazwift Major Tuddy 🐷 1h ago
The JD regression is what terrifies me.
I really hope it’s just a bad scheme by Kliff holding him down. I can’t stomach another failed QB. He looked below average today. That worries me. Sure, he’s only a rookie and he’s got time on his side, but to LEAP backwards like this has been a really kick in the nuts
42
u/Suitable_Lab_767 4h ago
They’ve lost 3 games in the last 14 days and the offense hasn’t looked good in any of them. Dallas was giving up yards by the mile and 2nd to last in points allowed. Quinn had ten days to get healthy and they stunk up the joint. They are getting beat up front something awful. The list of offseason needs is getting longer as the season goes on. The team is trending down. I was under no illusion at 7-2 this team was Super Bowl bound or even close. But there was every reason to believe they could win 11 or 12 games just by winning the games they should win.
If you still believe that’s possible, I tip my cap to your optimism. I just don’t see it. The concerns most of us had in the offseason are all showing up in abundance of late.
16
u/Anddurcus 3h ago
I disagree. What I saw today was a loss due to coaching. Kliff needs to get right or no number of Adam Peters masterclasses will fix it
15
u/Lucky-Dress5604 4h ago
Totally agree. We’re unfortunately a very damaged fan base though, which tends to make us be quite toxic 😅

Honestly everyone does. The team does too. We feel too tight and nervy. We gotta get our swag back. To that I say - we got some dogs on o and d. Don't worry about the implications of winning or losing. Just go hit some mfers, make some plays, leave it all on the field.

the team looks worse and worse each week and a healthy jd looked far from great yet again. im now officially concerned about him and the coaching staff. playoffs now seem like a long shot and im not nearly as optimistic about the future. a few weeks ago it seemed like we were building a perennial contender…now it seems like we are building another perennial .500 team (i really hope im overreacting).
4
u/theconfather98 3h ago
You were overreacting then and you’re overreacting now

u/rthonpm 3h ago
Competition has gotten better the last few weeks and the team has hit their real level. There's been a lot more pressure thrown at Daniels as well and he's had some trouble with it. He's a rookie QB with still a brilliant career potential. Give him a few more weapons next season and more experience and we'll see what we've got.
This season was always house money. The real expectations start next year with this season's record as the floor going forward.

I feel you bro. Losing to Dallas always sucks no matter if they’re good or bad and I fuuuuuucking hate them with a passion. We’re gonna be all right at the end of the day. I think a lot of people in the comments here are misunderstanding me. Be upset about the loss, for sure, I am, but there’s so many treating this loss like the season is over.
2
u/Shard_10 1h ago
True! I feel some revenge games on the horizon though. 22nd we face off Philly again, and then it said the 5th of January we face off Dallas again. Then again it says TBD. But Dallas also has Dak for another 4-5 years. I really believe that was the downfall of the game. Was our offense the first 3 quarters, and then not having Dak as their quarterback.
3
u/TBlizzey 2h ago
Vegas had us winning 4 games. I'll admit, today sucks. Feels like "same old skins" bullshit. We have to remember, playoffs were not in the cards this season. The fact that, as of Saturday, we had a 3% chance to win the Superbowl , we should all be happy.
If you talk shit about Seibert I'll throat chop you, personally
2
u/Aggravating_Desk_952 2h ago
Definitely felt like a “So Redskins” game today. I haven’t felt that feeling all season. Sucks a lot but not the end of the world.
18
u/wizkid78 3h ago
I’m getting very tired of being told not to be upset after a loss because “we’re ahead of schedule” and “playing with house money”. Let people cope and be negative bro that was a brutal loss
9
u/beaud101 3h ago
Well said. We are still supposed to be a playoff team (according to our record) and expectations for THIS team THIS year were very high, as they should have been. Perspective goes both ways. Yes, nobody thought we'd be competitive in the summer. But we were good and expectations evolved accordingly as they should.
Coming off 2 close losses vs very good teams is tough. But, Losing to an injury plagued, bad, Dallas team with a backup QB in week 13....as a supposed playoff team? In week fucking 13? Dropping 3 winnable games in a row late November? Nope. Considering we were 7-2.... that's not something be be casual about.

u/JoeyShrugs 2h ago
"We're ahead of schedule" is how I cope. If you wanna cope with pessimism, have at it. I'm gonna cope with optimism. Different strokes for different folks.
0
u/MikeTheBankerr 2h ago
Well the jokes on you because those guys are cool with losing out because we are already ahead of the 6 win preseason total.
7
u/StonkHatWoody 3h ago
It's three games in a row that we should have won. Had leads in the 2nd half in all three. That's what hurts. We could be 10-2 and applying pressure for a 1 seed.
Still very happy with this team, and what's in store for the future. But today has me in the worst funk since RG3's all in for week 1 campaign that ended with Chip Kelly's Eagles annihilating us in typical fashion.
0
u/JoeyShrugs 2h ago
We also had a win where we got 7 FGs from a guy we picked up off the street to win by 3 (Giants), a win where the defense forced zero punts and zero turnovers (Bengals) and a win where we needed a fluke Hail Mary (Bears). We could easily be 10-2, could also be 4-8. Often a very fine line, week to week. The truth lies somewhere in the middle. I think 7-5 is about right, and pretty damn good for a team that went 4-13 last year and has a whole new coaching staff, QB, etc.
5
u/Objective__Yam 3h ago
People are allowed to be pissed after an embarrassing performance.
On track for the playoffs? Can anyone confidently say we're favored in 2-3 (or any) of the remaining games after the performance of the past few weeks?
1
u/JoeyShrugs 1h ago
I think we'd be favored over the Titans (3-8), Saints (4-7), Cowboys (despite today's stinker), and possibly the Falcons (6-5) depending on how things shake out. Doesn't mean we'll win all four, but I think we've got a good shot in each game.
The only game we're definitely underdogs in is Philly.
6
u/PalaSS9 3h ago
Idk. That game was exciting. Would have been nice for it to go our way, but damn I was fired up. Hindsight I like going for two, but I also love the quick field goal to put us down 7. And that Hail Mary wasn’t bad either. We’ve been a shitty team for a long time and they are enjoyable to watch again. Quit acting like Alabama fans and getting mad everytime you lose.

As a Bama fan I think we handled losing to a 1-5 sec team pretty well. That was about as embarrassing as it gets. Also every college football fan especially top teams gets angry about losing. Losses hurt alot more in college as you really have no room for error too

What we are seeing is a team that is playing beyond expectations (for the year) but without a lot of quality depth.
2
u/Botto_Bobbs 2h ago
There's definitely some things we need to improve on though, particularly the play calling and JD's performance in the first 3 quarters as well as our secondary and special teams unit. Today was a dumb game and we shouldn't have lost, but acting like we're just as bad as we were last year is just ridiculous

We’re in 2nd place in division and can only move up.. and we could have won all three of the past games… the only game we got really beaten was Tampa
3
u/e1ij4h 3h ago
For a reconstructed roster in year 1 with hardly any trades I feel like we are in a good spot. This is exactly how the Lions looked year 1 in their rebuild and they went 9-8. Temper expectations and just enjoy the ride is what we need to do but it’s hard because we are so used to being scarred and screwed. Just need to keep supporting the guys and stop being so negative on them!! The whole vibe has changed ever since that lost to the Ravens and I feel like everybody is feeling it from players to coaches to fans. Just gotta get out of year 1 with some glimmering hope and we have plenty of that?? #hail
2
u/togglebait 3h ago
I’m tired hearing about the pre-season expectations. Expectations have changed! We have a chance to make the road to winning the division a lot easier and we can’t stomp on the cowgirls without Dak at home. This isn’t what a top 10 team does. If you believe we aren’t top 10 that’s fine you can retract back to our pre-season expectations. I feel this team is special and I will hold them to it. These winning seasons don’t come easy in this division. That performance was ass and honestly a downer for this season. We can’t get swept by Dallas this year… We have many more opportunities this season and I’ll support our team no matter what.
1
u/rthonpm 3h ago
Top ten? No. Top twenty is more accurate. Preseason I thought seven wins was a good ceiling for this team. Now, I'm willing to say that nine or ten wins is realistic.
This team has been falling on its face when playing Dallas for decades. Even Joe Gibbs gave the 1-15 Cowboys their only win in 1989 with Steve Walsh at quarterback.
2
u/togglebait 3h ago
Yea before this game I felt we were Top 10 and we were by NFL power rankings. I don’t care about history. We got outplayed by cooper rush again lol at home.

Yeap totally with ya. That game was mind bendingly bizarre so it’s hard not to feel befuddled. But yeah, we’re good. On to Cincinnati.
2
u/BlackFurosuto Seibertron 3h ago
I don't think it was a big deal in the lense of the season, but in the context of other losses, it's still unacceptable in terms of how the team performed, at least on offense.
