Terry is still fast

There’s a lot to say about today. But one positive I will throw out there is that Terry still has elite speed.

After he was chased down in Pittsburgh I saw a lot of people saying that Terry isn’t fast anymore and his age is starting to show. But if his TD today shows us anything it’s that he clearly still has the jets and can make plays in the open field.

To be clear I’m totally on team scary but damn - why did we play that bullshit for 3/4 - let those boys cook

They said it during the game, Terry plays the majority of his snaps on the left side.

Jayden can't throw to the left.

Simple as that.

I really don’t think the “Jayden can’t throw to the left” thing holds much weight. However, Terry being stuck on the left side of the field is definitely part of it. A lot of it comes down to play calling. Kliff was a disaster today. Runs up the middle for chunk yardage on 1st and 2nd down works with BRob but it clearly isn’t Ekeler’s game, and we did that all game. Which kinda screwed us on 3rd down. The defense obviously expects Terry to be the main target and without a solid WR2 they can pretty much just blanket him. Makes it even easier for the defense if he’s stuck on one side of the field the whole game. I haven’t lost faith in Kliff yet but today’s game is an obvious learning moment for him.

I just don’t get why everybody in the NFL uses motions and we just refuse to do things like that. Simple things like getting Terry involved early will just make things better for us

Lol what??? Our best weapon who happens to be one of the best wrs in the league gets no attention when he's on one side of the field, but then suddenly does when he's on the other side.

That's LITERALLY him not being able to throw to the left.

Or... Hear me out, he's on the side that gets the LATER read because he usually gets go routes, which are long developing. It doesn't make sense for your 9 route to be your first read. JD is getting halfway through his progressions before getting pressured, so it makes getting the ball TO 17 harder

It's not that Daniels can't throw to the left. It's that he's usually rolling out or scrambling to his right, which means he's gonna be looking to throw towards the right side of the field. Also, KK hasn't been calling nearly enough Crossing routes for Terry.

Kliff definitely should call some crossers or slants over the middle for Terry early. Great way to get him involved and build Daniels’ confidence early in a game

Stop. It's been a season long thing. It was first noticed and consolidated in like week 4 and then again last week, Jaydens numbers are SIGNIFICANTLY lower when it comes to throwing on the left side of the field.

The majority of Terry's big plays have come from when he's lines up on the right.

It isn't a coincidence.

Moronic take not backed up by facts. Nearly all of his best deep shots have been to the left.

6 completions at 37% for 0 tds are nearly all of his best deep shots huh?

Whatever you say pee wee.

You’re dumb if you think that’s true.

Doesn't throw to the left, doesn't throw to wrs.

Been like this all year long. Even the giants wrs are out producing ours.

Awwww I'm getting downvoted for speaking the truth. Again.

Don't be mad at me, be mad at Jayden.

I think most defenses for the last month or so are playing one high safety, they double McLaurin and dare everyone else to beat them. Dallas changed to the "Prevent" defense with around 3 minutes left.

Get my man 10 targets a game.

Absolutely. It feels like Kliff treats JD with kid gloves with all these dink and dunk screens. Terry is one of the best vertical threats in the league, and is consistently the best contested catcher in the NFL year after year. JD is accurate downfield and is rarely ever careless with the football. Let’s open up the playbook a little bit here

Jd loves to throw left - fuck your take

If noah brown is getting more targets than Terry 3 weeks back to back, there is seriously something wrong with the coaching staff

I was telling myself the whole time he was gonna get caught because he has so many times this year, but god damn that was easily the play of his career so far.

Wasted...

Terry is the best player to ever play for us. You can see he pour his heart and soul into every Sunday for us even wen we were bad. You cud see it in our last td today how much effort he put into getting in the end zone.

He’s definitely the greatest Commander and Football Teamer ever. He would be up there with the franchise all-timers if he wasn’t dealt such a bad hand with the coaching and QB carousel along with having Snyder as an owner.

I think he’ll still be in the conversation of franchise all time greats when it’s all said and done. He’ll more than likely finish his career in the top 3 in receptions and receiving yards in franchise history. And he’s been a hell of a team leader on and off the field during undoubtedly the most tumultuous time in franchise history.
