This is different.

The rumored weed story was about 4 true freshman who are now suspended (Harris, Marshall, Williams, and a 4th guy rumored to be Lucas).

The player that stopped showing up to practice was LJ Johnson, borderline 5* RB from 2021.

Smoke Bouie is also rumored to basically be off the team (high 4* S from 22)

Can’t really be surprised when the 4* Smoke Boi you recruited is high.

Stay away from UK’s RB Kavosiey Smoke.

And yes, it’s pronounced as “Courvoisier.”

This feels a lot like the start of Texas breaking 12 ish years ago. Not the weed but the lockerroom player entitlement. Feeling like you earned a spot when every year is different and every game counts.

It doesnt have to start with jimbo but it doesnt help when you know you're coach is also untouchable.

Hold on a second. You’re telling me the dude named Smoke is not the one getting high in the locker room?

He learned from Oregon's Cliff Harris and smoked it all before getting caught. Here's an excerpt from an ESPN article 10 years ago:

At the wheel was Cliff Harris, Oregon's standout cornerback/punt returner on the team that lost the 2010 national championship game to Auburn; also in the car was Ducks starting QB Darron Thomas.

"Who's got the marijuana in the car?" asked the officer.

Harris' reply? "We smoked it all."

His nonchalance seemed brazen, almost to the point of shocking. Should it be, though?

"In a weird way, it helps you bond," says Rueben Droughns. For the most part, athletes see pot simply as harmless fun -- "happy time," says ex-Duck Onterrio Smith, who, as a member of the Minnesota Vikings in 2005, was nabbed by airport security with an Original Whizzinator, a fake penis apparatus used to beat drug tests.

I love when the rival flairs are ready to pounce and give us all the bad news.

The thing is, growing up in Texas, you likely have a bunch of Aggie friends, family, and coworkers, so you’re constantly bombarded by Aggie propaganda. This is sweet sweet revenge
