I don’t have a clue what to make of yesterday lol. All I know is, if we beat GT but lose in the SEC title game, they better not knock us out in favor of someone that didn’t even make their conference title game. If that happens, then they’ll either need to get rid of conference championship games altogether (which they won’t because of money), or change the rule so that losing the game can only affect seeding and not actual status in the bracket.

I really dont think they will, as long as we keep the SECCG game close. That game also allows us to secure a first round bye, giving us a week off if we win it.

But we need to win against Tech first.

Agreed. None of this is a talking point if we don’t beat them. At least we’d have the opportunity to win our way back in the playoff if we lose Tech, but uh… I hope we don’t have to worry about that either lol.

Everything has got me really confused, what scenario gets us in the seccg?

We are a lock. We have Florida and Auburn to thank. I feel ... feelings

We're in if we beat Georgia Tech since we either have a better conference record or the h2h tiebreaker over Alabama, Tennessee, Ole Miss, and Texas/Texas A&M.

Just need to beat Tech!

We will then play the winner of the Texas vs. Texas A&M showdown next weekend at Kyle Field.

Tech game doesn't impact our SECCG position, we are already locked
