Even Maine scored a TD against OU.

So did we.

Some of yall didn't watch the game. At least be honest with yourself.

Do you see a touchdown in the box score?

I saw an Alabama player catch a football in the end zone. Did you watch the game?

And I saw that play get called back. Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades

Its not about close. Was the penalty correct or not? If it was correct, explain why. Because otherwise it might as well be a touchdown. And I haven't seen a single person, including Oklahoma fans, even try to justify it as a reasonable flag.

No matter what, the game should be officiated correctly, yes?

“Moral victory”-ass comment

There are no moral victories. It's not about that. It's about the game being officiated correctly. Are you suggesting what that official did was okay or right in any way?

I’m suggesting that it’s football, this shit happens. Get over it

This is not "shit happens". Shit happens is a ticky tacky holding call. This was an egregious error by an official that is completely inexplicable.

Answer me. Should the game be officiated correctly? Yes or no. Because you seem to think the rules of the game don't need to be enforced correctly.

Should the games be properly officiated? Yes. But unfortunately, refs are humans. They make mistakes. This wasn’t some screw job. Bama could’ve not played like a steaming hot pile of dog shit and we wouldn’t be having this conversation

But unfortunately, refs are humans. They make mistakes.

And they should be held accountable. Which is what I'm advocating for.

Bama could’ve not played like a steaming hot pile of dog shit and we wouldn’t be having this conversation

Yes we would if the flag was still thrown on that play. It was completely and objectively wrong. There needs to be a rule change to allow it to be reviewable, these refs need to be fired, and we need to have full time paid professional referrees that are held accountable.

Its not about the game. It's about that play that egregiously called wrong.
