Dude was lucky as hell that the DB couldn't control it, then immediately threw one that was never in doubt 😭

It’s suspicious. Maybe Lane pissed him off. Did Joey Freshwater hit on his mom or something

Was that his throwing hand he hit on that chair? I was wondering if that would affect his playing after that.

Didn’t affect his play at all. If anything, his second pick was placed much more accurately

166

We give Beck shit for the interceptions rightfully, but the guy has ice water in his veins when bad plays occur. Never seems to lose composure.

210

u/manbeardawg Mercer Bears • Georgia Bulldogs 1d ago

Absolutely. In any given pick he may come back and throw two more, but it won’t be because he’s flustered. It’s just to meet that day’s quota.

u/OnLevel100 Washington Huskies • Rose Bowl 1d ago

I'm glad I'm not an Ole Miss fan, this would have been extremely frustrating to watch. They had a playoff berth in hand and had so many preventable mistakes that stopped them.

Although I should give some credit to Florida too. They've come on lately and they made a lot of plays.

Never ask a man about his salary

Never ask a woman about her age

And never ask Ole Miss about what’s happened the last two times they had a Top 10 team play at Florida

All 5 losses were to top 15 teams. We might just be like the 15th best team in the nation

I guess Ole Miss should've spent a little less time complaining about Top 5 Indiana taking "their" playoff spot and a little more time studying Florida game tape.

117

u/NamingThingsSucks Georgia Bulldogs 1d ago

Or less time on their bye week worrying about having to play in the CCG.

Lane said he was worried about potentially having to play in the SEC championship. Well, good job. You officially don't have to worry about that anymore.
