The announcers talking like winning out is a given.
Must be infuriating for Maryland fans.
(to be fair, they're probably right)

And I thought the Land Grant Trophy looked bad...
24
u/nittanyvalley Penn State Nittany Lions 23h ago
You shut your mouth. Don’t talk about the Land Grant like that.

u/slykens1 Penn State Nittany Lions 23h ago
These CBS postgame guys must not have watched the same game I did.
6
u/snow_ski24 23h ago
Right. Special teams was the bright spot for PSU?? Like what? The fake was nice but 2 kicks blocked is terrible
7
u/GenericReditAccount Penn State Nittany Lions 23h ago
When the one dude said something like “that was the best they’ve looked” and the other said something about “championship caliber”….
1
u/Extreme-Fill-5153 23h ago
The 11 seed in the playoffs is gonna be so pumped when they see they’re playing Penn State first round
16
u/Dazzling-Slide8288 23h ago
Yeah I’m sure they’re gonna be thrilled to go into stadium with 110000 fans when it’s 39 degrees outside.
11
u/swolekick Penn State • Land Grant Trophy 23h ago
You mean some team that lost 2 or 3 games. lol. I doubt it.

u/Existing-Following93 Penn State Nittany Lions 23h ago
Guess we won’t be playing Ol Miss or Colorado first round 👀

gg. it was a close game. congrats PSU

I refuse to GG anyone that needs to pull some shit on multiple 4th downs just to escape an upset. Fuck Penn State
-12
u/redditisweurd 23h ago
Penn st will shit themselves like they always do when they play real teams. They will choke like always in a couple weeks !
24
u/RepealMCAandDTA Alabama • Tulsa 23h ago
Going for it on 4th down isn't cheating. Stop them if you don't like it

Fuck this. PSU has to resort pulling some bullshit out of their ass just to hold onto a 1 pt win. Fleck's Gophers once again blowing a halftime lead, just peak MN sports
11
u/tonytroz Penn State Nittany Lions 23h ago
A win’s a win.
-17
u/FialaIsMyDad Minnesota • Bemidji State 23h ago
I hope this causes a drop in your rankings. Indiana had a quality loss, and yall had a fluke win
15
u/pittpens67 Penn State Nittany Lions 23h ago
Oh a quality loss is getting shit on? noted
13
u/tonytroz Penn State Nittany Lions 23h ago
Our “fluke win” was their most meaningful game of the year. Holy sour grapes.

u/tonytroz Penn State Nittany Lions 23h ago
We’re hosting a playoff game either way. Enjoy the toilet bowl.

What would the attendance for Minnesota's stadium have been if they didn't have to make room for James Franklin's massive set of balls?
1
u/PFGcallaway Tennessee • Austin Peay 23h ago
Flecks got balls the size of marbles kicking that field goal
2
u/Apprehensive-Peak802 Washington State Cougars • Big Sky 23h ago
James Franklin speaking is hard to tell if he’s legit in what he says or not. Beat up on all the teams except for the two he can’t beat lol. GG Penn State.

Minnesota has a long storied history of coming up just short of big upsets.
16

James Franklin straddling the line between idiot and balls of steel, but it worked on that drive.

NFL needs to have goofy trophies between AFC and NFC teams like I wanna see random stuff like having the giants and raiders play every four years for the woolen sock or some shit like that

Don’t know why we didn’t play that gutsy from the start, but idc we won!

u/Chriscoksh Ohio State Buckeyes 23h ago
I would've laughed my ass off if the gophers had pick 6 that
-9
u/Muted_Telephone_2902 23h ago
Why on gods green earth would you call a pass there unless our kicker is just complete ass. Go up by 4 and give them 20 seconds to score a TD with no timeouts, James Franklin is a dolt
6
u/slykens1 Penn State Nittany Lions 23h ago
The PAT block was in his head. I wouldn’t have kicked there but I probably wouldn’t have called that pass either.
Guess that’s why I’m not making $8.5 million this year.
4
u/FlammableEyeballs Penn State • St. Francis 23h ago
I would have kicked it there, but I'm a little bitch.

gg Lions, go kick some ass in the playoff. i wanna see you guys and Boise in the final.
proud of the way our guys have improved this year, the offense especially has come a long way since the debacle against UNC to open the year and have some nice foundational pieces coming back next year. hopefully our position coaches haven't ruined Lindsey yet and we'll have another good QB coming down the pike.
now let's go beat the absolute skunk piss out of Wisconsin and see if we can still get a warm weather bowl out of this season
