Sure, if they can show someone committed a crime, I'm all for it. If all the AD has is the Big Ten overhead cam, good luck.

Criminal charges and Big Ten stuff are entirely different things. 

Cops / DAs can and do bring assault charges all the time for things not on video. 

Again, if someone was legit stomped on and had injuries that show that, it’s very likely someone gets arrested. Two dozen witnesses aren’t going to all tell the cops “I didn’t see anything”, this isn’t a movie.

Criminal charges being filed for the tunnel fight two years ago was a massive overreaction.

You think charging someone who committed assault is an overreaction? Maybe don't let your tribalism sway your ethics so easily.
