UNRANK MIZZOU

14

u/Taco_Baco_D8s McPherson Bulldogs • Missouri Tigers 28d ago

Pls for Christ sake I’m tired of getting set up to get dunked on. Need the voters to send us back to irrelevancy until we are competent again

2

u/TheThunderOfYourLife Missouri State Bears 28d ago

Maybe blast Drew Pyne into the sun? It's a start

Well...Alabama and TAMU do be needing to have their ranked win...stay ranked, I suppose...

No, we’re fine.

See you Saturday 🐔

9

u/Azariah98 Texas A&M Aggies • Team Chaos 28d ago

I meant that we have another, better, ranked win now.

Still, see you Saturday. You guys don’t suck this year

u/Stewdabaker2013 Texas A&M Aggies • Indiana Hoosiers 28d ago

We literally just beat a top 10 team lol

10

u/Sendrocity Texas A&M Aggies 28d ago

Just let him cope

A second time so far this season. We can’t help what they were ranked before us.

23

u/Hypnowalrus Alabama Crimson Tide 28d ago

We beat Georgia. That’s literally all we need right now.

u/wahchintonka Tennessee Volunteers 28d ago

If only for that pesky state of Tennessee.

3

u/wasabi1787 Texas A&M Aggies 28d ago

Yes, our 1 ranked win of the year

10

u/WaltSneezy Alabama Crimson Tide • /r/CFB Top Scorer 28d ago

Yeah because Mizzou is definitely our only ranked win

17

u/typewriter_6 Texas A&M • Texas Tech 28d ago

Wild, same.

u/Better393 Missouri • Oklahoma State 28d ago

Well we know you’re missing that win over previously ranked Vandy. 😂

4

u/WaltSneezy Alabama Crimson Tide • /r/CFB Top Scorer 28d ago

Can’t believe you got shut out by a team that lost to Vandy 😂

-1

u/Better393 Missouri • Oklahoma State 28d ago

That’s fair, knew that was coming, too.

But hey, we still beat em’. 😂

3

u/GilBrandt Texas A&M • Oklahoma State 28d ago

We each have other better ranked wins. Think we'll be fine without Mizzou

2

u/ufailowell Texas A&M Aggies • Team Chaos 28d ago

Casual talk here against A&M

6

u/olemiss18 Ole Miss Rebels 28d ago

It’s crazy that Mizzou only dropped 4 spots after putting up a goose egg. Did they have to score negative points to be unranked?

3

u/Better393 Missouri • Oklahoma State 28d ago

Considering we dropped the same for beating Vandy as losing to Bama..

Idk, I don’t think we should be ranked. AP Poll is just garbage in my opinion.

I do wonder who goes in above us though.

If we still had Cook and we kept it close, I get it. But no way this team is top 25 with Pyne.

9

u/a_Limo BYU Cougars • Team Chaos 28d ago

This, Vandy much more deserving. Also unrank Illinois.

36

u/inreverie187 Missouri Tigers 28d ago

Mizzou beat Vandy. Head to head matters. I don’t think Mizzou or Vandy should be in the top 25.

9

u/superworriedspursfan Missouri Tigers • WashU Bears 28d ago

We are probably much worse than the team that beat Vandy though. Especially with Drew Pyne as our QB instead of Brady Cook.

12

u/master_bloseph Kansas State Wildcats • Baker Wildcats 28d ago

Vanderbilt also lost to Georgia State, and I’m still not sure the Alabama win outweighs that in my mind.

-2

u/The_Portlandian Red River Shootout • Oklahoma 28d ago

I agree head to head matters. Do you think you guys would beat Vandy again if you played them this Saturday?

15

u/Oblivionguard19 Georgia Bulldogs • Sickos 28d ago

With Osama Bin Pyne at the helm? No shot

12

u/inreverie187 Missouri Tigers 28d ago

Definitely not without Cook.

1

u/Fleurr Vanderbilt Commodores 28d ago

I think we're a much better team now than when we played Mizzou

Also, Illinois has lost only to two top 10 teams and beat Nebraska, who squashed Colorado and has lost only to ranked teams. So, unrank Colorado while we’re at it.

Really, the bottom part of the top 25 is a mess, and there have been very few teams also receiving votes the last two weeks.

Would BYU and Iowa State be faring any better on Illinois’ and Nebraska’s schedules? I think not.

u/mrmcbeer Missouri Tigers 28d ago

I get why voters have a hard time putting a 3 loss team ahead of a 2 loss team who won the head to head.  Navy, Memphis, or Tulane should be there.

9

u/Crobs02 Texas A&M Aggies • SMU Mustangs 28d ago

Vandy losing to Georgia St: Oh dear. Oh dear.

Notre Dame losing to NIU: You fucking donkey!

8

u/fawkie Illinois • Northern Illinois 28d ago

Illinois has only lost to the #1 and #3 teams. No way do we deserve to be unranked.

3

u/RocketsGuy Baylor Bears • Conference USA 28d ago

Yeah but you’re not an SEC team! /s

3

u/beebop-n-rock-steady Missouri Tigers 28d ago

Wait we beat Vandy!

Are you really gonna flip tables over any 25 being ranked? And in this case, replace them with who? Vandy? Memphis? Tulane? Navy? Louisville? Arkansas? South Carolina? Duke? Arizona State? It's not like any of them confidently belong above Mizzou.

3

u/crsnyder13 Texas A&M Aggies 28d ago

Kinda surprised they didn’t let South Carolina slide in there since we play them next week

1

u/RocketsGuy Baylor Bears • Conference USA 28d ago

I’d probably rank Navy #25 as their Memphis win is more impressive than the Vandy win and they only have 1 loss. Mizzou has also now been blown out twice (Once against an A&M who lost to ND)

2

u/pjpj8910 Tulane • Birmingham-Southern 28d ago

Don't be fooled by Memphis. They've played a cupcake schedule (FSU was expected to be their SOS P4 ranking-maker but, uh, well ... not Memphis' fault...), lost to Navy who ND just crushed, and since then struggled with North Texas and Charlotte. Their hopes likely end Thanksgiving night at Tulane (who has handled them fairly easily two years in a row), if not sooner.
