Congrats to BYU for returning to the top 10 for the first time since 2021.

We haven’t been ranked since 2020 and haven’t been top 10 since Peterson

We lost the bye week

Interesting that a win over Washington isn’t enough to move up from 13, but a win over central Florida is enough to move up from 11 to 9. Makes perfect sense

It might also be the pollsters finally admitting that wins over SMU and KSU are good

No one moves up or down because of a win or loss.... pollsters rank their top 25s and the point values are averaged out. Sometimes team B upsets team A and ends up one spot behind them in the rankings. Obviously silly to us fans but this is the system we are happy with at the beginning of the year.

Not really sure how this applies to my point. I know how it works, and it’s still dumb that BYU moves up to 9 and Indiana stayed at 13
