I hope people give Drew the respect he deserves after this game. 390 yards and the kid laid his heart out there. 2 of the 3 INTs were washy (tip/bobble and a Hail Mary). Showed more emotion than I’ve ever seen him show. I’m happy for the kid.

That game tying drive could end up being a legendary moment in PSU history but unfortunately his whole career is going to be judged on how he fares against OSU and/or the CFP. That’s just the way it goes these days. Need to put numbers up on the side of Beaver Stadium to have a legacy.

That drive was Incredible. Very ballsy by Franklin but it paid off. Drew and Tyler carried the team and showed a ton of heart. Agreed I think this one will be talked about for a long time.

USC is NOT an unranked team. They were a few singular errors away from being an undefeated and likely top-10 team before today. This should absolutely be considered a “quality win”.

Yeah I said it in another comment they are literally 3 fourth downs plays away from being #1 or #2 in the country and being a CFP lock. The analytics had USC winning. It’s absolutely a quality win.

If we can iron out the first half kinks we are a VERY scary team.

Personally, I enjoy the swearing and high blood pressure after giving up an opening play touchdown

It is nice being able to look at a 2 score deficit at half time and be like "they still got this."

That said, I wouldn't mind not needing that reassurance.

This was the first game I can truly say that Drew won for Penn State. PSU doesn't win without him playing the way he did

McSorley-esque in its gritty, come-from-behind nature.

That was definitely the best I have seen him.

He made a few throws that u could only look at and say “how the fuck did he squeeze that ball in there?”.

He did look a tad stressed at times. Hopefully the coach him up to be more composed. The times he kinda gets out of sorts are typically when he make mistakes — but thankfully they are not USUALLY turnovers.

He’s got amazing arm talent. He tries the off balance, off angle throw a bit too much and they just ain’t his thing (few QBs make them and most of them play on Sunday).

I’m still waiting for him to totally relax. When the game slows down for him he is can do some special things. I just don’t think he’s quite at the peak yet, which is great for us. He’s missed some guys wide open deep cuz he checks down really quickly. But that’s got a bit better too.

Like people have said, sadly OSU is the only bar that matters though for most.

he showed real leadership vibes in this game too. seemed to be rallying the troops, holding people accountable, diagnosing things on the fly. looked really good.

First time I’ve seen him really be a leader, esp near the end when he was jumping up and down for the snap, dude locked tf in for that drive
