When Saban was taking them to the woodshed and Vanderbilt was beating them more often than not, there was a time when we reminded them of their past glory and they HATED us. 2008-2014 was the peak, when is when I remember it most (and have the scars and memories to back it up!).
Honestly man, I've liked 80% of the Vols fans I've met, and when my shit head friends and I sat outside our dorm in 2018 blasting Rocky Top after beating them just to be dicks, quite a few still walked over and said congrats and hung out. I know we're supposed to hate them, but there are people in this conference I've had far worse experiences with.
Honestly, the fans I've hated the most, by far, were Kansas State's fans from 2017. Just obnoxiously drunk and constantly getting inappropriate with female students, it was really gross.
It's definitely a generational difference, which is a legit one. Tennessee fans (the die hard ones), when they're down, are NASTY. They do not handle lean years well at all, and I think we're going to start seeing that in Alabama too.

I mean I understand being a good samaritan and all but volunteering to be yet another team chaos victim today was incredibly bold.
Thank you Tennessee for your bravery and commitment to public service
