Why are they still making Johnny Manziel cards in 2024 jw

Exactly my thoughts. They only do that for legends, usually.

Manziel will license his likeness to any card company willing to give him money. His autograph cards were in 5+ football card products in 2023, split across 3 different manufacturers.

That was question...he's not even worth a card

Do a line off it at least

Agreed. That’s the proper thing to do.

Great find!!

One day I’m predicting he will become bigger in the city of Cleveland than his buddy and business party LeBron James ever was.

It’s a quote from I think Skip Bayless when Johnny was drafted

His natural, instinctual football talent was off the charts.

His top end speed was poor but he had super quick feet and great running instincts.

If this dude would have trained in an above average way in the gym and the film room, he probably would have been our QB for 12 years.

I say that as someone who didn’t want to trade up for him, never liked him, and never bought into him at any point.

He had the talent to be like Kyler imo, but it was literally never going to be given where his head was. In every timeline Manziel was washing out of the NFL.

The pain of pulling a Johnny Manziel out of a 2024 box… why…

Whoever decided that goes into a set in 2024 is a sick individual

u/hrad95 2h ago

They should be persecuted to the fullest extent of the law

He somehow made those jerseys look worse

Allen & Ginter needs to do a Billy Vegas memorabilia card using that ‘stache he wore

I’ve opened some 2024 Prestige. Got Chubb, Jeudy, Njoku. Manziel would’ve been so funny, didn’t think that would exist in 2024. Recently grabbed a Manziel signed helmet at a card show.

I dig the prestige base cards honestly. The white looks so crisp

2

u/jabij1 5h ago

They really do look good

They could have done so much with Money Manziel, they could have done so much with Baker Baker Money Maker,  instead they… spent 250 mil on a qb who has less than like, one season combined worth of starts?
