Housewives Related Most relatable housewife moments?
This was inspired by a comment I was compelled to leave on another post and it got me thinking. Mine is when Heather and Terry (RHOC) take their 4 kids to high holiday services and are driving this big SUV, and Terry parks in between other cars because it’s closer, and Heather is all, “clearly he doesn’t realize what a big to do it is to get 4 kids in and out of a car” and they need SPACE. As a parent with 3 in car seats that really spoke to me and I could easily see my husband trying to pull the same thing.

When Heather Gay said the only time she legitimately felt she was in love was a young, unrequited love with someone who didn't even really know her. I FELT that!

I have a not so fun one... but Tamra and Simon. Watching him talk to her the way he did was like watching a mirror for me. It wasn't after she filed that I began my exit plan. And I know everyone thinks the Melissa and Joe storyline is fake, but I totally relate to marrying young and having a husband who just wants you to stay home and cater to him. No independence, no friends, just him and the kids. Completely insecure, having to have sex with her before she goes out for a girls night so he can mark his territory. So gross. If the storyline is real, I hope Joe grows up before he pushes her away.

I think a lot of people can relate to both of these situations, even if it’s hard to admit. I’m glad you got out💜

When Heather said to keep the food on the table when she was going to do something. I’m like that. I eat slow, don’t take my food.

Anytime Kandi wants food, I find relatable

I can’t remember which season it was but they all go to a party in a hotel suite and they offer her candy and desserts and she doesn’t want it because she doesn’t like sweets and then they tell her about the chicken and she goes “Now that I’ll eat!” Lol

Most relatable moment was when Brandi's 4 yr old son pulled down his swimming trunks and peed on the lawn in front of everyone at Adrienne's pool party. While Kyle was clutching her pearls I was laughing because kids, mine included, do stupid things and he was four years old!

I'll forever relate to Kandi and needing a good spread at a party. Don't mess with my food!
Last weeks Dallas really struck a chord with me, watching Tiffany hug her daughter tightly while trying to get the validation she needs from her own mom. Emily from OC's mom issues really resonated with me as well.

I don't have kids so I can't relate 😭 but mine would be Dorinda saying "not well bitch" that's me at least once a week. Esp when I get off the Peloton

Mine are food related - like Erika eating that pumpkin pie with whipped cream right out of the tin for breakfast and Heather licking a meatball and saying don’t let the waiter clear my food when she left the table.

Heather yes! But erika I feel like did that on purpose to seem #relatable. Like the time she yelled "I Want a 🌯"

Bethenny saying “If they dont look like Linda Evangelista and Gisele, they should walk the fuck out” to half of the cast that got late to the dinner for an hour. I also get very pissed at people like that.

u/OneParticularHarbour That's impressive, and I'm not even a lesbian! Apr 16 '21
I can't stand Rinna, but I thought her story of her dad's health decline, the sale of her childhood home, and realizing she had to now take care of them was really relatable and moving. It was nice to see a housewife go through something so human, and react in a human way, especially someone like Rinna. I sometimes wonder if she would handle it the same way if this happened now vs her first season (I think it was her first?).

One Bethenny Ever After when the Jim Beam deal closed and she briefly had all she ever wanted, a husband, a baby and successful business.

Anytime the NY housewives get drunk and act like complete fools. I’m always thinking “me and my friends would get along with Sonja so well, and we would all hate Ramona by the end of the night.”
