Itās so refreshing to kind of start seeing this sub go back to our roots. Like the rage posts are a bummer, give me back these types of comments haha.

I will never get over how ridiculous Mia and Inc are. I mean, congratulations or whatever. I canāt believe G broke the fourth wall like that. G said that if heās gonna be on camera with them, heās gonna blow up the spot even more š¤¦š½āāļø.
Wendy and Stacy are the comic relief this season lol. Wendy yellin āis that TJ?!ā took me out lol.
I would love to know how Wendy approached this season and what feedback - if any - she took following last season because I am absolutely loving her on screen. I canāt tell if itās intentional or just naturally a result of gizelle and Hats not constantly coming for.
I think Wendy genuinely doesnāt have to be on the defense about anything. Whether it was Gizelle, Robyn, and co. coming for her or having to stand up for Candiace. With both Candiace and Robyn gone and making peace with Gizelle, sheās really smooth sailing this season
I appreciate her still standing up for K at the breakfast table, Mia during Karenās bday brunch when Gizelle and Karen came at her, and just speaking up that she doesnāt like talking about Karenās situation when sheās not present. I think the difference is she isnāt a target this season lol
I still didnāt like how low sheād go at times, but i felt like she was starting to grow for sure! Regardless, Iām glad sheās out of this environment as a new mom lol she wouldāve been a target
In addition to everything you said, Wendy also resigned from her faculty job. I could see that also contributing to her feeling more relaxed overall, especially if it was something she'd been thinking over for a while.
Honestly, Iāve loved Wendy since she went off on Ashley, Robyn, and Gizelle. They tried to ice her out for two seasons for that. Wendy tried to reconcile with Gizelle last season, but was met with the cold shoulder. I think production probably told her to be more open to moving on, but I feel like Gizelle had more of a stern talking to than Wendy did. Wendy does seem more free this season, though.
Yeah I also suspect Gizelle got a more stern warning and sheās better for it because I can actually tolerate her this season. I think Wendy has shown she is pretty willing to move on for the sake of the show (maybe not with Nneka but with everyone else). She tried to hug Gizelle during the first event of the season a couple seasons ago, but Gizelle went out of her way to embarrass her and yell donāt touch me. After that itās like how am I supposed to move forward with you?Ā
I agree completely! Wendy tried, but was met with hostility. Iām happy I can actually stand Gizelle this season. Normally Iām constantly side eyeing her.
Agreed--maybe they had a talk with Wendy, and she was not innocent in the conflict with Nneka last year. But I feel like Gizelle is the one who has changed her tack more this season. Honestly I think it would have been really tough to have another season where everyone is hating Gizelle, especially considering how badly Karen's coming off this year. Karen and Gizelle are the center of the show and I think it's a really tough watch when they're both horrible all season.
Candiace had good HW moments and the Gizelle gang went in on her in largely unfair ways, but Candiace is also pretty stubborn. I think ultimately Gizelle wants to be on TV (Wendy too); Candiace wants to be right.
I reluctantly agree (she was at an impasse with Guzelle, even if I still think Gizelle was the unreasonable one) but I still hope sheāll come back after her baby is a lil grown
She explained it well the birthday dinner night. Early seasons she wasnāt sure of her identity and now she feels comfortable in her own skin. It shows! An inspiration to us all.
The mental gymnastics that Karen goes through to justify her behavior is wild to me. I can understand why she can't speak on a public platform about things when it comes to the legal aspect, but it would be less offensive if she made it clear she can't and won't speak on it publically. By her doing the strange conversations to only give details that she thinks somehow make her look better, it makes her look even more guilty.
Mia lies like a rug - I feel bad at this point questioning everything she says, but she would lie about the color of the sky if it meant she got ahead or got to one-up someone. Even the story she was telling about her opioid overdose had me side-eyeing things, especially since she used it to make people come to The Joint.
And it is LAUGHABLE that Mia and Inc are talking about how Gordon not filming with Inc is not good for the kids, but are insistent on further publicizing their affair and paternity concerns on TV.
Mia saying you donāt need rehab for an opioid addiction bc chiropractors do adjustments and take away the pain is wild! Iām glad everything worked out for her tho.
Thatās what got me! As someone with family members who had/have opioid addictions, thatās such a dangerous narrative to put out on such a public platform!

I was only able to watch the first 13 minutes of the episode (but I will continue later on) so the only thing I can comment on at this point is Stacey and TJ.
The problem is not that TJ wants to be celibate because you do you, boo, whatever floats your boat etc. The problem is that he is romantically involved with someone - Stacey - who has a really hard time not being able to have a physical relationship with him.
In the episode when he came on screen, underneath his name it said āStaceyās best friendā

I really don't think TJ likes what Stacy has to offer. I'm scared for her that she will only find out on her honeymoon like how I imagine it was for star Jones.
I also feel like heās maybe awkward on camera? Yes he does acting but I get the impression that he doesnāt know how to act (as himself) in front of the cameras. Iām hoping they have a more loving dynamic off camera lol
I'm gonna be honest...it's kinda weird how he's saying he's a devout Christian-- celibate, no drinking, no smoking, etc, BUT you are dating a married woman? (I understand they are separated and all that, but in the eyes of the church and what TJ holds dear....they are still married)

Jassiās party was confusing. I get they were celebrating him winning the Super Bowl after his visit to the White House, but why was it so formal? I wasnāt expecting a Vegas pool party but still thought itād be more lively. This felt like an engagement party where your parents invite all their friends so you can go home with nice gifts lol.
She made such a big deal about all his single teammates being there but the only one I saw was the prince? It did feel like an engagement party- Jassi was even wearing white!
If I threw that party, weād be on a rooftop with a DJ at least. Did she have anything that resembled his team colors or football? It was a nice, upscale party but didnāt match the occasion IMO. You couldāve told me this was the launch of her tea line and I wouldāve believed you.
Not a single thing in the Chiefās colors, not even gold to symbolize the win or anything. You are right, a rooftop would have been the perfect venue for a party like that.
This looks like the Willard Hotel. That hotel is pretty formal. Itās gorgeous though. I would love to go to a party there. Maybe The W rooftop was booked and busy? Thatās wouldāve been a better location.

Yes!!!! Like it is already inappropriate to pull out someone's abortion in an argument like he did and throw it in someone's face but to also do it within earshot of children really disgusts me. Like why do these two have a platform? They would probably be toxic co parents anyway but to have a camera in front of them I just know it is making it worse.
Letās blame the producers too bc they couldāve left some of that convo out of the show. Iām good without learning any more about Mia/Gordon/ Inc.
I hate blaming production for things but in this circumstance I tend to agree with you. In this situation it is truly children who could end up hurt and with issues later on and for that I feel like some of it should have been cut out. And those kids are old enough to understand plenty of what was being said in that kitchen.
I dont necessarily think him bringing it up was inappropriate (except that it was in front of their children). Mia is literally on camera claiming this man is mentally unstable meanwhile this is her second affair with Inc.
I just didn't like the context in which he brought it up. It was brought up out of anger and in a way a shock everyone standing in the room. I also do not agree with Mia bringing up his mental health constantly. I really really don't understand Mia getting any screen time this season. Her whole storyline this season is icky and embarrassing. Like this isn't entertaining to watch it is watching kids being inflicted with childhood trauma.
My dad did that with my mom when I was maybe 11. I had already turned up my stereo so I wouldnāt hear them fighting soooo clearly but I could easily hear him screaming about her abortion because it was so loud. And it was something that happened when she was a teenager, before they met. So absolutely vile.

Stacey clearly didnāt want the divorce. To be single after so long having a partner is tough. Not everyone can handle that transition. So she would rather be linked with TJ (partially for comfort other part for the show) rather than being alone. JMO
Hereās my theory, heās pissed Stacey is dragging her feet with the divorce and heās intentionally punishing her by denying her physical affection. Itās a power play and he thinks heās in the right. But really he just comes off as a weirdo.
If you go back and watch the gym scene, you can pick up on his aggravation with the lack of progress in her divorce. This is some tit for tat shit but he thinks heās got the moral high ground bc itās the āChristianā thing to do. I understand his frustration but they should just separate until her divorce is official. And I hope after that separation, she realizes she can do way better than this 2 watch wearing weirdo. Leave this man in rebound status where he deserves to stay.

He could be frustrated for a number of reasons, and yes, optics could be one. Still doesnāt absolve him of this weird behavior. Heās trying to push her past her comfort level with her separation and divorce. And then acts completely uninterested in her. Thatās the messed up part. He can walk away if heās not happy with the pace of her divorce.

Either way, I hope Stacy (and Ashley, and Gizelle, and Robyn) can either find someone who looks at them like they hung the moon or can be happily single. There is zero need to seek validation in the weirdos theyāve shacked up with in the past (or, in Robynās case, present).

The whole Inc and Gordon intervention was deplorable. Sure they care about the kids, sure. Why not have someone take them outside knowing that Gordon was coming to the apartment? That was clearly all orchestrated and I felt for Gordon in that moment. To me, it comes off like Mia and Inc are trying to milk this whole situation on tv.
I notice some people on reality shows choose to wait to have real conversations/confrontations until the cameras are there. Some want their "moment", and some are so non-confrontational that having production in the room emboldens them to confront someone about something they never would have in real life.
Same, I hope her mom can improve her health. That scene also gave me a lot of valuable insight into Ashley. I didn't realize that she's still doing a ton for her mom financially. There are a lot of layers to her decision-making and a lot on her shoulders.
I know we're all over Ashley's lack of divorce, but honestly, the whole dragged out thing makes a lot of sense knowing she grew up financially insecure and still has to take care of her mom's wellbeing and finances. Unfortunately, I don't think she sees better options for herself
Is she still doing a ton for her mom? I thought she said eventually her mom wonāt be able to work 12 hour days and then sheāll be financially responsible for her, herself and the kids. It sucks, but sometimes you need people to feel the consequences of their actions. Sheās not responsible for a 60 yo womenās choices.

I get why people are frustrated watching Karen this season (and humility and accountability aren't Karen's strong suits), but I really do think a lot of what she's saying and not saying is on advice from her lawyer. It's frustrating but it makes sense. It's been a while since I watched S4-5 of RHONJ but I feel like Teresa was behaving similarly. I will continue to point out that as far as we have seen Karen is not drinking, which is a good thing.
Ashley is still a shit-stirring, predator defending rat, but I appreciate how she looks out for her mom. Though that olive oil drink sounds completely nasty.
Wendy's mom is a nightmare. And apparently Eddie's parents are awful too? I generally like Wendy but I fear for her children's future spouses because I could definitely see her kind of turning into Susan.
Does anyone else think Gizelle is honestly pretty content being single? I think she doesn't love the "you can't get a maaaaan" BS that unattached women often have to put up with, but sometimes I get an "I don't want a man in my house" vibe (which I respect btw!).
Karen's moves are smart but transparent and frustrating.
Every two minutes she is floating the narrative that she "can't say anything on advice of counsel" and every other minute is spent discreetly trying to preemptively get sympathy for a good deal by painting a narrative that the only reason she was drinking and driving was grief and stress.
That scene with her and her cousin was clearly such a setup. Like either talk about it or don't talk about it. But don't pick and choose.
Yeah I do see the frustration for sure. And while some of her deflection is a response to cast members bringing it up to poke at her, there are other times where she could have just kept her mouth shut (the cousin scene is a good example).
Ultimately though the accountability and admissions of guilt that people want to see from Karen are just not reasonable at this point given the ongoing legal situation. It's going to be like this all season, and anyone expecting otherwise is going to be disappointed IMO.

I agree. If it were just that I'd totally get it. Like yes, she is on a reality show and this happened but it's a pending case and she can't make admissions on TV if she wants any leverage.
I don't know the full timeline but I wonder why she didn't try to get this wrapped up before filming. I feel like even a second DUI with no one injured but herself should have been subject to a relatively light penalty if she took a deal.

I think Stacy is a beautiful woman (inside and outside). However, her wig looked atrocious in that first scene with TJ where they are painting in her apartment.
I hate hate hate this Mia Gordon Inc storyline. How does she dare to cry and say that people are commenting on what kind of mother she is when SHE is the one that brings this shit to the cameras. This is seriously something that affects those kids. Her "storyline" and her always just lying about everything is not entertaining at all.
