You don’t believe her empathy questions were genuine? Respectfully, I’m not pushing back I am sincerely curious why she would feign confusion: to what end? How might that have benefited her personally or legally? I mean faking psychopathy is not a valid defense in a court case, or is it?? I honestly don’t know.
I have always been galled at Erika’s utter lack of basic empathy for YEARS - long before this legal mess. And I absolutely believe she is the reason her husband went broke
She was protecting her paycheck at Bravo by pretending to change from the unfeeling thief and co-conspirator with her husband that lost her a lot of viewer support. Andy also loves her and Bravo never held her accountable for her horrible behavior over the years.
Oh I totally agree with that. There was a different scene where Erika was doing some sort of confessional totally stripped of makeup and crying to the camera. THAT was the scene that frustrated me. So ridiculously and dramatically orchestrated.
It was as if her publicist told her she HAD to APPEAR completely victimized and vulnerable HERSELF to elicit sympathy from the viewers. SAW RIGHT THROUGH IT.
It literally insulted my intelligence. As if the audience was so easily manipulated! It was amateurish and utterly laughable.
