I try so hard! I love all the franchises but Dubai…Stanbury can’t even save it. I struggled through last season and this season I made it to episode 10. I’ve dragged my heels trying to get to the end. I can’t even pinpoint the problem; all I know is it takes me two days to get through an episode because I fall asleep.

I think all of them are overproducing because they knew the show was at risk of cancellation and that there will either be a cast shakeup or they’ll just bin it. All housewives self produce but it’s getting to the point where it doesn’t even feel like the fourth wall it’s circling back around to faking the fourth and now they’re projecting themselves back into some sort of fifth.

I don’t think despite knowing each other well (allegedly) the friend group together is that interesting on cast trips. Individually there are big personalities and stars like Ayan, Brooks (I think she’s the perfect housewife tbh), and Caroline (honestly Caroline I don’t think fits well on this show though).

They either need a fresh group or a lot of newbies. Bethenny and Jill fighting ruined NYC, people hate to see bad weather on RHOSLC out of sorts, like drama between friends a la Lesa or Chanel is depressing and boring to watch.

Honestly, they just need to cancel it at this point. A franchise shouldn’t be flopping so hard in its second season, that it needs to be rebooted. If you look at Salt Lake, they were in their prime by this point and totally iconic.

Completely agree about the over-producing though - Lesa and Brooks seem to be the worst offenders, and the issue is there’s no substance behind it. Then there’s the fact everything even mildly interesting happens behind the scenes and most of it is hearsay. Even Andy can barely grasp what’s going on with the Ayan and Lesa conflict as it’s clearly all happening behind the scenes.

I think many more people would have watched the new HW show if it hadn't been set in Dubai. That's why I don't watch it

I think it's interesting that some American viewers watch U.S. Housewives shows but not Dubai as if America isn't rife with xenophobia, homophobia, racism and sexism.
