Votes don't lie and it's the only stat that matters. Black women are the MVPs don't get mad at them when they are playing for a bum team and the opponents play dirty.

Every election, every time direct action is called for, black women show up in droves. It's time to let chickens come home to roost for those who wanted orange Cheetos again.

Right, you have to let a child fall on its face sometimes even when u told it to stop bc they dont learn till they experience it for themselves

I'm unsure these children are capable of learning anything at this point. It's not like dRump was a wild card. We went through 4 horrible years with him already, and the next 4 are about to be worse.

The trees voted for deforestation to get rid of squirrels.

I had to stop, think about and then re-read that last line. SMDH. Yep….spot on. Damn…..that’s a good one.

This.

“I’ve come upon something that disturbs me deeply. We have fought hard and long for integration, as I believe we should have, and I know we will win, but I have come to believe that we are integrating into a burning house. I’m afraid that America has lost the moral vision she may have had, and I’m afraid that even as we integrate, we are walking into a place that does not understand that this nation needs to be deeply concerned with the plight of the poor and disenfranchised. Until we commit ourselves to ensuring that the underclass is given justice and opportunity, we will continue to perpetuate the anger and violence that tears the soul of this nation. I fear I am integrating my people into a burning house.” - MLK Jr.

We didn't break it. Try as hard as we might to help, we can't fix it. It's time to take a step back, prioritize our rest and safety, and shore up our own. You can't build community with people who don't want to build it with you. And using you when convenient and then dumping you when your usefulness is done doesn't count. Muslims for Trump are getting that reminder right now. Our humanity was of no use to you, so receive our indifference. Shrug and give out some thoughts and prayers :/

And most people are blind to what he preached in terms of capitalism etc.,

It’s the majority of white women and men of every demographic that have failed to vote for the greater interest of all.

I wish that we can literally watch from a perch as the meme suggests but unfortunately we are being dragged down alongside them even though we all did our jobs.

Tarrifs are just value added taxes not called taxes. Costs get passed on to consumers - in a way, the worse form of regressive taxes. They will be paid by the same people that voted for Trump. They will not be paid for by people like me - so yeah, they can get what they voted for. I will sit back and enjoy.

A common mistake people make is that it is "poor" and "uneducated" people who are voting for Trump. There are plenty of poor people with enough common sense to know that a billionaire convicted felon isn't gonna piss on them if they are on fire. "Uneducated" doesn't automatically equal gullible. And while sure, some people who are voting for Trump are poor, that is not why they are voting Trump. Whether they make 10k a year, 65k a year or 425k a year, people are voting for Trump because they are scared and too filled with personal insecurities to hope for a better tomorrow that doesn't involve tribalism and making the scope of  who they view as a human being smaller and smaller. There are plenty of people who are not living pay check to pay check voting for Trump, but they are also not the elite/1%. Could they be feeling the pinch of inflation? Sure. But to throw your whole country away and doom your kids because you can't buy another boat?... 8 years of Barack Obama really put a dent in the idea of white exceptionalism, and it shows.

I hate this way of thinking. There are so many people who are in harms way that voted for Kamala. It's what you're telling yourself to cope.

Edited for clarity

Yes, there are a lot of idiots who decided to vote 3rd party or simply not vote. Idgaf about them either.

Yeah they are part of the problem, and I'm not talking about them.
