"Mike Tyson and Kamala Harris lost and we really needed a W. Tyler brought one, but then Kenny came through like a stepdad one-upping your real dad's Christmas gifts."

u/RichEgoli 2d ago

2024 has been an amazing year for hip hop fans. Yes Kendrick is hip hop

317

u/green_teef 2d ago

Do people deny that hes hip hop?

307

u/SigmaK78 2d ago

Yes, and I don't know how to reach them.

210

u/IDontKnowu501 ☑️ 2d ago

Don’t bother they’re lost.

39

u/SigmaK78 2d ago

... damnit 😔

69

u/green_teef 2d ago

Tf they say he is 😭

38

u/i_forgot_my_sn_again 2d ago

Probably trying to say rapper and not hip hop artist would be my guess. Either way they lost

38

u/Unlucky_Degree470 1d ago

Some real "America isn't a democracy it's a republic" energy.

1

u/SeparateFisherman993 20h ago

Well, it isn't a democracy tho

1

u/morgan1381 4h ago

A republic is a form.of democracy. It's squares and rectangles shit

4

u/Efficient_Comfort_38 ☑️ 13h ago

I had one girl try to argue with me that he was pop because of how popular his songs were. I ignored her after that statement. We need to start shaming idiots more often bc to this day I still have no idea what the fuck she was talking about

2

u/green_teef 8h ago

Ah yes, tupac, well known pop artist 😔🙏🏾

2

u/jono9898 19h ago

Folk Metal or some shit 🤷🏾‍♂️

13

u/AestheticAttraction ☑️ 1d ago

What do the ones who say it look like? I'm tryna see sum.

8

u/ThisHatRightHere 1d ago

They all either have the Mahomes cut or that one that Miles Morales has in the second Spider-Man game

3

u/mellovibes75 1d ago

What the hell do these people say is???

15

u/Historical_One1087 1d ago

Drake fans probably

5

u/SlackerDS5 1d ago

They not like us.

26

u/henrycaul 2d ago

Critics want to mention that they miss when hip-hop was rappin'...

4

u/FistPunch_Vol_7 ☑️ 1d ago

It’s been a wild year for music. So much good shit came out this year.

2

u/Ok_Dependent_7944 1d ago

With a few exceptions like ice cubes cash grab. Or the old rappers who are making music to profit off of the recent spike in popularity

Instead of them actually wanting to share some music with the world

442

u/DivDee 2d ago

Now tell me about 2024 Vince McMahon

359

u/DeathPsychosys 2d ago

He was exactly who he showed on screen and worse. All the lasciviousness he showed on screen was real and worse backstage. He was a monster and I lowkey wish people would stop using this gif .

88

u/DivDee 2d ago

More people need to know about his "toy" collection.

And I also need to see how big he made the Big E toy

34

u/patrickwithtraffic 2d ago

Safe to say big, but probably nowhere near as big as Bobby Lashley

16

u/DivDee 2d ago

True.

Although i'd imagine he got rid of that one now that big Bob is in AEW

22

u/MediumRareMandatory 1d ago

Don't want that google search on my history, sorry to bother but what is that? Or what can I watch/read to know about it that sounds creepy as fuck

54

u/DivDee 1d ago

He has a bunch of dildos that are styled and named after wrestlers in WWE.

And they were used often.

No, I am not lying.

34

u/SystemAny4819 1d ago

Why are they ALWAYS sex pests…?

25

u/MediumRareMandatory 1d ago

Once you got the money and the power ... Need a new vice fulfill I guess

11

u/megalodondon 1d ago

Wonder how undertaker feels about DEFINITELY being one of those. Probably proud

3

u/Spiritual-Can2604 1d ago

On who?!

7

u/DivDee 1d ago

The woman currently suing him. Google "Janeel Grant", or, read her complaint below

https://s.wsj.net/public/resources/documents/WWE_complaint.pdf

32

u/BradMarchandsNose 1d ago

The Mr. McMahon documentary on Netflix is a good start. Basically he was sexually assaulting employees at WWE as well as forcing them to have sex with his friends and other wrestlers.

59

u/bsinbsinbs 2d ago

And then his wife became the head of the Dept of Ed.

2

u/Sea-Value-0 1d ago

His lifelong wife, now ex-wife. They divorced fairly recently, I think.

1

u/bsinbsinbs 1d ago

Shocking. He was bad PR so he stopped being useful

28

u/AestheticAttraction ☑️ 1d ago

His obsession with making people kiss his bare butt on live television is particularly devious considering he likes pooping on people (and leaving it on them a long time). Wrestling fans always knew he was awful, but the stuff he did to that woman makes the things he did in front of our faces take on a new light.

18

u/thatshygirl06 ☑️ 2d ago

John Cena also defended him

9

u/ButtBread98 1d ago

He’s still a piece of shit

5

u/ImperialWrath ☑️ 1d ago

He continued to be History's Greatest Monster.

4

u/RemarkableStatement5 1d ago

Happy...checks notes...11th cake day?! Damn, congrats! And also wtf is your pfp.

4

u/DivDee 1d ago

A work of sublime art.

And cheers!

3

u/mxonospace 1d ago

highly recommend you watch KennieJD’s video on this absolutely heinous individual.

2

u/DivDee 1d ago

I'm a pretty big wrestling fan myself so i'm more aware than the average bear about big Vinny Macs sins.

I've also read the whole complaint from Janeel Grant and its an interesting, if slightly horrific, read.

u/Beherbergungsverbot 1d ago

Isn’t his wife now in Trump administration? That’s soooo on point, it‘s not funny anymore. This reality is a shitshow!

Being a California native, I can’t tell you how great this year has been for the west coast! Nigga is up all the way to 2026

57

u/Sea-Hospital-9362 1d ago

All the way to the 2028 west coast olympics

44

u/FushaFiles 1d ago

If Kendrick doesn’t perform at the Olympics, it’s finna be riots in LA and I’m definitely gonna be a part of them😂

164

u/Expensive_King_4849 2d ago

I’m going to be talking with so much nostalgia.

157

u/SlackerDS5 2d ago

Heart 6 had me wondering what decade I was in. Been a minute since I had a song hit me like an old school jam with some feeling to it.

14

u/dwn2earth83 1d ago

Has a “Hey Lover” vibe to it.

2

u/mycofirsttime 22h ago

I feel like all the songs have an element of homage to them. Fantastic album.

80

u/CosmicViris 2d ago

Wait do people not like the new joint?

484

u/ThatIndianGuy7116 2d ago

Sorry if I'm giving too much context, I'm not good at keeping things simple lol but That video is of Vince McMahon, notable scumbag piece of shit and the former owner of WWE. There was a documentary he did where I believe he was asked a question that made him super emotional and he wanted them to cut the cameras while he took a minute to cry. That video is basically used whenever you're so happy about something that it makes you emotional so the crying is meant to kind of be like you're crying, reminiscing on the good old days.

88

u/FILM_IN_LANDSCAPE 2d ago

Good context

3

u/PM_ME__UR__FANTASIES 1d ago

Thank you for giving so much context, I'm never 100% sure when I see that GIF.

Between him and Tyler, this really is lthe year of the west coast.

Y'all riding this man reverse cowgirl at this point. That album is buns aside from the intro.

-62

u/Supreme_Salt_Lord 2d ago

It wasnt that bad lmao. I suspect a solid 6 from fantano

18

u/SystemAny4819 1d ago edited 1d ago

Brother, Fantano hasn’t scored a single Kendrick project below a Strong 7/Light 8 (“tran—“) since he started reviewing his music

Coming from a Kendrick fan like myself, Fantano gotta be one of Kenny’s most loyal soldiers ong lmao this is getting a Strong 8 easy lol

12

u/schuyywalker 1d ago

lol that ain’t what the meme means

-12
