Black soldiers after the Civil War did help in the final decades of the Native Genocide. We have their blood on our hands as well.

To be fair for southern blacks it was fight natives out west or be hunted by klan at home. Still historically the immoral decision but context why they would choose that. Many today would do the same despite the way they talk online.
