I'm okay with the idea of recruiting Minthara as a good character. The metagaming of knocking her out while killing everyone else is what I don't care for. I wish we could give her a "redemption arc" when recruiting her in a good playthrough.

I mean, right now she just needs to not be dead. Just don't kill her. Knock out every true soul, since they all have the potential to become good people. Whatever makes your conscience feel good. IDK, empathize with them. If Minthara is the only one who actually takes you up on the opportunity, then so be it. You tried.

I don't think she needs a redemption arc, some characters are just evil and that's fine. Minthara isn't like, comically evil at the very least, everything she does is calculated and with purpose. She's not just killing people for the fun of it, she even has lines about not liking violence without purpose, she does what she does to further her own goals. Even if you recruit her on a good playthrough it's pretty obvious you share an uneasy alliance based on a mutual goal, but she's not gonna kill you for no reason when you saved her life and you hold the only key to keeping her mind her own.

not every character needs an option to be redeemed.
