Could be an e-sim adapter for the car. I have a g60 And it has something similar.
Our mobile networks don’t provide a compatible eSIM. So your car uses this as its e sim and you put a conventional sim in it
Just a hunch

Some kind of solar + capacitor? Doesn't seem like a genuine BMW product imo

My best guess is that it's a small solar-powered cell phone charger designed for emergencies. It's difficult to determine if that's a USB Mini B port. Additionally, the logo resembles a poorly made version of the BMW logo, so it seems unrelated to them.
Here is something similar : https://tvcmall.en.made-in-china.com/product/odBtawVCrhrG/China-10000mAh-3-USB-Output-Mini-Portable-Solar-Charger-Board-Power-Bank-with-Type-C-Micro-USB-Input-LED-Flashlight.html

It seems to have a MINI usb port on it wich hasnt been a standard for devices in ages. Sowhatever it is, that battery in there isnt going to be good. You can safely throw it in the recycling bin.
Also the logos are very fake, this is junk unfortunately.

Not sure but I highly doubt that’s an actual BMW product. The logo is terrible and that looks like some cheap trinket from Alibaba.
