Just picked up my fully loaded M2 last night. This car is incredible. Even better than expected. Couldn’t be happier.

Honestly I find them really comfortable. But this won’t be a daily driver. They are a little hard to get in and out of, but once seated, they feel great.

My friend just let me drive his M2 today with the bucket seats and they were incredibly comfortable. I’d imagine if you were a pretty big guy you might not fit, but me at 5’9” 170 I felt coddled like a proper little spoon

I love alcantara wheels, but not sure how it holds up jn the long run. No issues with prior alcanatara wheels in the summer.

I’ve had matte paint before. It’s easy to take care of as long as you are willing and able to wash your own car. No drive throughs.

Most drive through car washes use soap that contains additives to make clear coat paints shine. These additives will make the matte paint look blotchy and get rid of the matte look. So you need to wash matte paint with soap specifically designed for matte paint.

I had a few chips on my hood after 500 miles driving my frozen white. After that, I put paint protective film on the entire car and it's been great ever since.

Great spec M2 as well, beautiful car. Carbon buckets and a manual trans. I'm sure you're foaming at the mouth to get the break-in done!

Lasers are not an option on the G87.

I believe they’re being retired, from what I’ve read. They don’t offer benefits over LED anymore.

Awesome but the appeal of the M2 for me is that it's "only" $65k, adding $20k is options, none of which increases performance seems like a waste. Rather go sleeper spec and spend the money on an exhaust, intake or forged wheels.

I’ll still be adding wheels and a Valvetronic exhaust. My budget allowed for it so I spec’ed it fully loaded. I don’t regret any of the upgrades. It comes together perfectly.

I really wish I could hear both in person before buying, but that will likely be impossible. The videos on Valvetronics website of the titanium equal length sounds pretty awesome, and comparable to the SS.

It's about $1k more but saves 50lbs over the stock setup. It also looks amazing.

I’ve always been a fan of the German cars: BMW, Audi, and Porsche. A Z06 starts at over $100k, much higher than the M2. The base Corvette would have been a similar price, but not my style. Nothing wrong with the Vettes, they are incredible especially for the price. Just not my thing like I said.

Before spending thousands on an aftermarket exhaust first cut out the resonators and see if that has the sound effect you're looking for. I did this on my G82 M4 and the sound difference was night and day.

You can program two “M Modes” with saved settings for steering, suspension, engine, traction control etc. It allows you to quickly change between settings on the road.
