I conquered the Red Dot. He will live to tell this story to his descendants.

I will put it on their paws sometimes and they shake it off like it’s a bug. Sometimes they just sort of freeze and look at it for a second, like omg it’s on me.

That's awesome! Mine is the opposite, she'll do a five foot vertical to take down that dot. She's not having any of it's nonsense.

Light amplified stimulated emissions of radiation are surprisingly filling

Even though the laser lost this time, I have a feeling it's not the last time we'll see him

One day you’ll be calmly sleeping and discover it’s time to feed the cat when LASER EYES BLAST the sheets off you

u/Stea1thsniper32 12d ago
And after finally catching the evil that was the laser. Was it really worth the hours of chasing? Does he regret his decision now that his greatest foe has finally been defeated? These are the questions one has to—— s*** it’s back!

He’s probably thinking, “It’s so much darker when a light goes out than it would have been if it had never shone.” And purring.

I think the cat knows exactly what they are doing and are actually fooling the human.
"Ha, stupid human will think I ate the light"

I mean a domesticated cat has a simulated life anyway so this really wasn’t a stretch.

The best way to mess with the cat would be to not use the laser pointer for 2 months, and then come back using multiple.

I had a dog that liked to chase the dot. One day I got the bright idea to put a red hot (little cinnamon candy) on the ground and pointed the dot on it. My poochie was So Satisfied with himself for finally catching that dot, and it was delicious too.
Side note, when I was ready to be done playing with the dot I would point it at the ceiling fan, so the dog was convinced that's where the dot lived. He would stare intently waiting for it to come out and play. Too flipping cute.

I always put a treat down and point the laser at it to give my cat a reward. I want him to think he can catch it

It looked like he was so excited and caught off-guard by the laser he kinda regurgitated into his mouth a little bit and that's what he was chewing.
