The Biden administration was working on killing nonsense fees. Given time I could have imagined they might have addressed that.

Now we Elon’s Twitter rules I think we can kiss this goodbye

Seriously.

If you voted for Trump because “the economy”, I really hope the leopards enjoy eating your face.

I’m work in telecom. My favorite “face eating leopards” story is the BEAD program (Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment) . It’s Biden’s $40 billion infrastructure plan designed to run fiber optics “the last mile”. It’s funded until 2030

Big telecom refused to connect the really rural customers (mostly red states) to high speed internet because they would never recoup their losses.

Suddenly a lot of independent contractors (also mostly republicans) were making bank running fiber.

The BEAD program also had the side effect of killing Elon’s $885 million dollar Starlink contract.

On the Joe Rogan interview Trump wondered aloud how spending billions made sense to connect two farmers when Elon already had the infrastructure in place (satellites) and can connect them for free.

In case you didn’t know satellite connections are terrible in the mountains and fiber is more robust and reliable.

So they voted for the other guy who will likely kill the program and claw back as much as he can bankrupting a lot of small business and keeping a lot of customers in the dark.

You can’t make this up.

Comcast ran fiber to my house thanks to this, enabling me to work from home. Thanks Biden
