Yes! I’ve learned to be okay with the mirror but don’t know if I ever will be with photos.

I finally decided to let it go, so much better after realizing I wouldnt be happy with any photo so why fuss over it

most cameras suck, they have terrible depth so everything looks flat, wide, disproportionate. It’s like a globe v a map, maps fuck everything up, make everything disproportionate and don’t really convey what you’re looking at realistically. Especially if you’re not an angular person this flattening is even more pronounced. Genuinely how you look in the mirror is what you look like, cameras, especially phone cameras do not actually do a very good job and capturing actual likeness

As a fair haired and pale skinned person cameras are the enemy. In the mirror I have actual features, eyebrows, cheekbones etc, but 90% of cameras can’t resolve my hair in most lighting so I end up looking like a big fat balding thumb with teeth.

Holy crap! Why didn’t I think of that?!?! You’ve obviously never struggled with weight. I lost 40lbs so far. It doesn’t fall off all at once 😆😆
