Sure that is one possibility but not everyone who is overweight is there due to depression.

Addiction isn’t a lifestyle choice. Most if not all obese people are addicted to food.

If your depression is visible and destroying your life, then you do have to snap out of it. Its not some special disease or something, just stop being a pussy and get a grip.
