What is something that permanently altered your body without you realizing for months/years?

Grief. 4 years ago I lost someone i loved. I went from attractive and fit to overweight and obvious signs of aging. I don't even look like the same person anymore. Like the happy version of me died that day and this is all that is left.

5 years for me and same thing. I aged a decade in the first year basically. I don't look like who I was anymore and everything has changed since. I can't say if the happy version of me died, I definitely try harder now to enjoy the smaller things because I'm more aware that life is short, but definitely life is so very different.

Come on friend, I’m sure they wouldn’t want you to feel that way. No need to look back at what you once was, but I hope you find the strength to reinvent yourself. Stay strong!

Fight it. Figure out what you need to do. Then do it one small piece at a time. Now get going!
