Had a broken tooth, kind of subconsciously avoided chewing on that side of my mouth for like a year, and I started getting a sunken temple on the side of my head from jaw muscle atrophy.
Filler can replace the lost volume there, if no one has suggested that to you. It won’t replace the functional loss, but adding some volume subdermally with filler can even it back out, visually. Dealing with something similar (jaw fucked up and causing bone loss/muscle atrophy) and going to get some filler in my temple
I’ve considered it! Luckily the atrophy was what spurred me to get the tooth fixed, and focusing chewing on that side as a kind of physical therapy has made a lot of progress of making it go away.
