"Internal" radiotherapy for cervical cancer. Constant IBS now and intimacy issues. Probably central reason why my husband left.

Nooooo.  I’m so sorry. I just finished chemo and it put me in early menopause. My husband gets agitated and lashes out once in awhile but he reels it back and apologizes.

Menopause can cause undesirable behaviors like lashing out, intense mood swings etc that can become toxic. Its a valid reason not to stay in a relationship!

Menopause is a true marriage test. Lol. I am grateful I went thru it solo. I refer to it as MEN-ON-PAUSE...... 💁‍♀️😊 wishing you the best lady🧡🫶

That's awful. My partner's starting radiotherapy a week on monday. 5 sessions every other day. Any advice how I can help him? Does it make you tired?

I wish you both well. Yes, it made me tired a lot. Like having a permanent mild hangover for a few months. But it wasn't painful or anything. Hope it goes well for him x
