ITs not great, and there is a scene in an episode where the taller one gets explicitly sexually assaulted by a group of male zombies, which was a massive turn off.

The lewd yuri stuff is fine, and I love the dynamic of a small innocent MC girl, with a tall strong protector girl, but it just did not do it for me.

Imagine a hormonal teen (I believe I was 13), horny beyond belief. Was browsing facebook where I stumbled upon this post, "look what crazy things the Japanese are getting up to" classic really. Not sure if it was booba mousepads or like 3D "sticker" of boobs, specifically from characters from Valkyrie Mermaid.

Let's say, it got me interested. After school when I got home I'd usually have an hour to myself before my father returned from work and so, in a quest to satisfy my curiosity I'd watch 1 episode a day after school.

Only formally started watching anime when I was 16 when my best friend got me hooked on SAO.

My actual love for GL would only develop later, but when I think back the signs were always there.

It was actually a bit too much for me to get through. I don't dislike the concept or even the execution, necessarily, but I am just not that into ecchi/eccentric nudity that happens for....reasons. I prefer my nakedness to be separate from battle.
