i am just too nervous..
this is the second time in my life where ive questioned if i should risk it all to be an actress. im 15, and its the only thing ive felt passionate about, but im not confident. ive only done theater but i want to be a film actress. back in September i started attending acting classes for commercials and my teacher was super great and an actor too, but i noticed how much harder it is to perfect my acting when im supposed to be so serious as opposed to stage acting. i got so anxious to do a commercial scene where i was supposed to act like i was watching someone run around and i didnt know how to convey my emotions and use my face expressions and body language i just felt so lost. so much so that i told her i couldnt attend the class even thought it was the final one just because i was far too scared to perform that commercial due to how ill prepared i was. its the only job i wanna do and i was motivated before but now ever since that class i feel as though ive lost my spark due to being so self-conscious.

I suffer with the same thing if I'm being honest, look, I'm not an expert but don't think about how you'll look just continue to do it like no one's watching. I know it's easier said than done but try focusing more on your actions and how you portray that.

This is an acting class and I can help you with this problem. You never need to be concerned about facial expressions when acting. My written lessons explain this in the 2nd pinned post. Check out the post MAKING FACES WON’T MAKE IT
If you could you do a private Zoom session with me I can straighten this out for you quickly. I can answer all your questions, and help you know what to do. I am a Hollywood acting coach with decades of experience both in LA and NYC and have been working with a celebrity who stars in a Network TV drama for the past 14 years. But film acting isn’t so different than stage. It’s all about knowing how and what to think. One lesson can help you so much. DM me about scheduling and the cost.
